3. Voice and Special Category Data

Our service involves a voice interview. We do not use your voice to create a "voiceprint" or for biometric identification. The audio is used solely for transcription. This interview may inadvertently capture special category data (e.g., political opinions, health information). We request that you do not share such sensitive information. If you do, we will only process it where a specific lawful basis applies, or we will take steps to delete it.

4. AI Model Improvement

We use your data (such as your profile data and usage information) to train and improve our AI models and the Service. We do this under our Legitimate Interests. You have the right to opt-out of having your personal data used for this purpose at any time via your account settings.

Crucially, our third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google) are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their own models. They act only as our data processors.

5. How We Share Your Information

Your data is shared only in the following ways: with other users to make introductions; in a limited capacity with event hosts as an independent controller; and with our vetted service providers who act as our processors.

6. Your Data Rights & How to Exercise Them

You have rights under GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@neevie.com or through your account dashboard. We will respond to your request within one month after verifying your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Security and Breach Notification

We implement robust security measures like encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security testing. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will notify you without undue delay. We will notify the ICO within 72 hours where required by law.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to the US. We protect this data using the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses. For transfers to certified US companies, we may also rely on the UK-US Data Bridge.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies to run our site. For non-essential cookies (like analytics), we will only place them on your device with your explicit, opt-in consent via our cookie management banner, which provides equal prominence options for either accepting or not accepting them.
